ATV Wilderness Tours led us on our ATV tour
of Hurricane Sands (pronounced HUR-i-kin). We opted for the 4 hour tour. It was just
the 3 of us, and Todd, our guide. We started with a quick lesson, and off we went into
the public lands south of Hurricane.
Our tour took us past several geological features that we don't remember the names of, and
had various stops for pictures. We also got to play in the sand dunes with the ATVs, making
rainbows. We traveled a total of about 25 miles, and reached top speeds of 30 to 35 mph.
This was an absolute blast. Danny loved it the most, and would have done it all day. I
thought 4 hours was a perfect amount of time.
