Pictures from Mary's run in Grandma's Marathon on June 17, 2006.

To date, this was her fastest marathon and best of all she qualified for the 2007 Boston Marathon!

The race starts in Two Harbors, Minnesota and finishes in Duluth, Minnesota. The marathon received its name from the Duluth-based group of famous Grandma's restaurants - its first major sponsor. This event is billed as "World Class Event - Small Town Charm" and I think we would agree with that phrase. It was a very well run race and this year was its 30th anniversary. It was our first time in Duluth and we enjoyed our brief stay.

She was:

• 1301 out of 6909 overall
• 267 out of 2608 women
• 63 out of 397 (F35-39)
• gun time 3:49:53
• chip time 3:47:49
