Helfaer Field - August, 2003   7 photos
Pictures from their game at Helfaer Field at Miller Park (the Milwaukee Brewers home field). For those who don't know, when they built Miller Park they incorporated a design for a little league sized field called Helfaer Field. The location of this field is approximately where County Stadium sat, which was the original home of the Brewers. You can see from the pictures, it sits basically in the shadow of Miller Park. One very neat thing about Helfaer Field is home plate. When County Stadium was torn down, they saved home plate and installed it into the new field.

A very nice field and a great experience for the kids. Its really like being at a mini major league stadium. They have a PA system, which was used to introduce each of the players before the game started, and also to annouce each batter, pitching changes, hits, walks, etc. They played the national anthem to start the game. The field has a digital score board in right center field. It even has its own ground crew unit! They also have concessions there!
